Age & tests LowValue: Some significant congenital (=born-with) issues are not detected until 40's, if ever, while we are alive to any age. At your age, stress tests very rarely of any value because typically only detect severe complications of advanced artery disease. Additionally, doc is doing tests commonly done & paid for, may be ok or far off target if pain from diaphragm/intercostal breathing muscles, lungs, etc.

Nothing else: The last remaining concerning diagnosis in a young person with exertional chest pain is the possibility of a congenital abnormality of the coronary arteries. Your doctor is simply trying to evaluate for this last possibility.
