Mixing meds: The main concern with mixing medicine into a bottle is whether the baby is receiving all the medicine. A baby would need to finish the entire amount in the bottle. If you can not get the medicine into your child any other way, you may want to give a small amount of liquid in the bottle (like 1 ounce) with the medicine to ensure that the child finishes the bottle and the medicine.
