Regulate bowls: Most children will complain of abdominal pain if their stool are firm. Use the diet to keep stools soft and retrain to have bm by sitting for 5 mins max after a meal. Dinner is the best time of the day, since usually families are less rushed after dinner. This is not a punishment but an encouragement, let the child have a fun object these 5 minutes in the bathroom. A warm tub will assist w/ pain.
