How long to wait before a follow up urine culture after taking macrodantin (nitrofurantoin) for 7 days. 83 year old female. trace blood & leukocytes but wont culture?

Don't need one: As long as your symptoms are gone, there is no reason to culture the urine. If the original urinalysis showed trace blood and leukocyte esterase, but nothing cultured, and you had no symptoms, then you don't need an antibiotic.

2to3 days after : 2to 3 days aftef finishing the course of antibiotics will be ok.This exam should include urinalysis and culture.
