Varies : Pregnancies occured as early as 7 days after removal. For others it may take several months to start having normal cycles again. This is going to vary from person to person. When your periods are back to normal you will know that all is out of your system.

1 week: 1 week after the implant is removed the concentrations of etonogestrel are virtually undetectable.
