Sure, but: Ovulation involves the release of an egg from one of the ovaries during each menstrual cycle. It is possible to have more than one egg released during ovulation - that is how fraternal twins occur. However, no form of birth control (including implanon) is known to affect the chances of having twins - fraternal or identical twins.
