Numbers aren't right: Amount of fluid in always equals the amount of fluid out. There are some insensible losses in sweat, breathing and stool. If you drink 30-40 cups water per day your output must be close to this or you are losing tremendous amounts of fluid in your stool or sweat. Otherwise your bladder holds 10+ cups of fluid. Keep a log book and you will see.
