Pain: The end of the finger has some of the highest concentrations of pain detecting fibers in the nervous system. It is not surprising that this area is painful, and adding peroxide may have increased the discomfort. Watch this area carefully. If it becomes increasingly red, warm, swollen and painful or tender, get to a doctor immediately.
