Not usually: A seizure is uncontrolled electrical activity in a portion of the brain, which sometimes extends to involve the whole brain. Symptoms can be as little as a "1000 mile stare", to extreme flailing of the arms and legs. If the seizure is due to a mass in the brain, ct may see it, but MRI is better. Usually, the cause of seizures is a tiny "scar" in the brain, hard to identify even on ct or pet/ct.
