Generally not: Proteins tend to take longer to digest. Low fiber diet & poor fluid intake can prolong transit time as well as lead to constipation. Increase fiber (fruits/veggies/supplement) & fluid intake (8 full glasses of water, not caffeine or alcohol which tend to dehydrate) & stool softener. May take several days to improve condition. If no bm or pain worsens, see pcp for evaluation.
