My son accidentally put an ear drop (neomycin-polymyxin hc) in his eye. we flushed it for several minutes, do we need to be further concerned?

Unlikely: Most ear preparations are gentle enough not to cause any harm. You did the right thing by flushing the eye out. Observe for redness or discharge, and if nothing happens you can probably do nothing more. If anything unusual arises, see your ophthalmologist to diagnose that.
