Hip joint: Femoral acetabulum impingement is fancy doctor speak for hip joint impingement. I assume you are seeing an orthopedic surgeon for difficulty/pain/decreased range of motion in your hip. The head of the: Femur is pressed against the socket of your hip bone and there's not adequate space in that joint. Google on line for images of hip joint/ femoral acetabulum impingement. Take care!
