Yes, but: The uvula can be involved in a strep throat infection. The yellow is "pus, " a sign of infection. The appearance should improve after 5 days of appropriate antibiotics. If you feel no better, have a continued fever, or pain, check with your doctor as these symptoms should be resolving. Sometimes other infections look like a strep, but aren't. Did you have a positive throat culture for strep?
