Sounds OK: Sounds like you're getting better if your throat only hurts when you stretch it. You may have some residual lymph node or muscle soreness. Your initial pain may have triggered some tightness in the jaw muscles. If this fails to resolve over the next week, you may need to be reevaluated, but i suspect it will resolve.

Not strep : You have been treated long enough so that the pain is definately not from the strep. Might be from a virus that you have at the same time.

Jaw pain with strep: Isn't something that i would link together. If your throat is better with the appropriate antibiotic, great. As for the jaw pain, you may need to see your doctor for an exam and review of your history to determine what may be the culprit.

Strep: Soreness in throat muscles and in the jaw are not common in strep throat infections. Possible lymph gland inflammation is present. If the jaw pain is severe, an exam by an otolaryngologist(ear, nose and throat specialist) is recommended.
