A member asked:

I have pcos since 1 year. and i have been trying to cure it through exercise and diet. i want to get pregnant now. should i take any medicines?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Please see OB/GYN: Usually if a woman wants to conceive, a year is given for her to try naturally without any interventions. If pregnancy doesn't happen, then workup and possible treatment are done. Since you know there is a condition that can interfere with you getting pregnant, consult your ob/gyn first. If you have been exercising and losing weight, your pcos may have improved and you may conceive naturally.
