Depends: If you worry about diabetes ask your dr. To check hemoglobin a1c, which will show you historic glucose levels in your blood as a comparative lab number.

Possibly: Keep in mind that home glucometers may be "accurate" and still be 15-18% off. Your blood sugar should be tested in a lab for a more accurate interpretation.
