Multiple from just : Muscular to some underlying degenerative changes to an early disc problem or even the start of an upper respiratory infection to name a few of the more common reasons. If it persists after a week or two or gets worse, see your physician, in the meantime . Try heat applications, gentle stretching as well as over the counter medication if no reasons that you are unable to take them.
