I had shingles at 15 moths old. will i get them again or what will happen if anything?

Once infected: Once infected with herpes varicella/zoster you will have the organism for life. The chances for recurrence and the frequency are highly variable, and there are many people infected to whom it will never happen. My advice is to get the vaccine, as there is data to suggest efficacy in limiting outbreaks.
