Genu Valgum: Turned in knees, genu valgum, and or "knocked knee alignment' has nothing to with meniscocapsular separation, frequently someone who has knocked knee also has flat feet and custom orthotics helps your general alignment and mechanics. If you are athletic make sure the orthotics are "semirigid" and not hard. See a sports medicine orthopedic doctor. If you have a meniscus tear you will have pain.
