Not unusual: It depends really on the type of surgery and how long ago your surgery was performed. If it was less than 2 weeks ago, then that would not be unusual. If your surgery was 3 months or more ago, then you should not be in much pain. You really need to talk with the surgeon who did the procedure and who knows the details in your case.
