I do not think: The medicine is the issue. It stimulates your sympathetic nervous system to keep up bp. If you were to have migraines, topirimate at 50 mg per night is helpful for weight. It's off label for that but often used. Buproprion is good if your mood is down, helps. Obviously watch the sugar in the liquids, even fruit juice is loaded. If not sleeping well and tired a lot, reward system activates.

Other options.: First, midodrine does not stimulate appetite. However, if you feel side-effects from it, one can try florinef (fludrocortisone). Some people respond to octreotide injections. Non-drug measures can help, such as sleeping with the head of your bed elevated (put plankets under the mattress at the head of your bed to raise the head 6-8 inches).
