Middle ear inflection for 3 weeks, on antibiotics for the last 5 days with no results, now have pain below my left ear and slight numbness in tongue.

Get rechecked: You should get rechecked or get another opinion due to the tongue numbness, which should not be relateed to the ear infection. Also, bad teeth can cause ear symptoms.

Recheck: Possible other causes could be tooth infections or TMJ related problems for the pain n ear area. The tongue numbness could indicate nerve problem. Have the area reevaluated.
