Somewhat: A healthy weight loss is estimated at 1-2 pounds per week. Weight loss is simply a numbers game. If you are negative 3500 calories, you lose 1 pound. If you estimate basic metabolism at around 1100 calories a day, you should be able to figure out how much you need to eat and workout to lose your weight. Consider consulting a dietitian and start an exercise program. There are no short cuts.
