1st time seizure. good mri, eeg was abnormal. dr. did not give details, but put on zonisamdine. prescription seems bad for many reasons. male prone to infection & white cells high. should more tests done?

No may be med change: You have abnormal eeg suggest you have a seizure disorder and need to be controlled with meds. If the meds are making you sick you should discuss with your doctor or neurologist and have the medicine changed.

Convulsion: With only a single seizure, normal mr you would have been fine. However if the eeg was abnormal then you are likely a candidate for medication. If you are concerned about the medication proscribed then i would speak further with the dispensing physician.
