Prednisone and FM: Due to its ability to tackle multiple pain and inflammatory pathways, Prednisone and like medications can alleviate most pains, at least in the short-term. In certain conditions, they are the most important form of treatment. However, adverse side effects limits their use in conditions such as fibromyalgia which we believe is not due to a classic inflammatory disease process.
