MORE TO THIS: 8 years! something sounds strange. Need more information about all of the problems. I think there is more because most of my patients do well with psychotherapy and meds and it doesn't take 8 years.

B12, folate, (folic acid) 25(OH): 25(oh)vitamin d. I don't think that minerals are likely culprits, but lyme neuroborreliosis can cause panic disorder. Aside from the antimicrobials you are already taking, i would wonder, if the timing fits your lyme's progression, whether this is a true organic panic disorder, in which case an antipsychotic as a central nervous system stabilizer could be more helpful.

Don't Give Up!: Even though it feels like you have tried for such a long time already, you owe it to yourself to keep trying. First see a good internist who will do a good history and physical and will know what lab tests will rule out medical causes for what may present as anxiety and panic attacks. If that all turns out fine, what about seeing a cognitive behavioral therapist for cbt, non-medication treatment?

Exposure therapy: Once medical prob is ruled out find a therapist who specializes in panic disorder, esp helpful is exposure therapy for panic, where gradually, w the therapist's guidance, u intentionally ; repeatedly bring on various symptoms of panic, interspersed w/ relaxation techniques. By doing this over ; over again, physical sensations that accompany the panic feeling will no longer trigger a panic attack.

Change a doctor: If you are not deficit for Vitamins, they are usually not helpful. You need to find a doctor and work with the doctor to sort out what medication will work for you.

Not conclusive : It would be rare that a deficit of vitamins and minerals would be the sole cause of your anxiety. You can have a basic lab panel done including thyroid hormones as well as having your heart checked. Have you tried cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or therapy?
