Can't answer: Addiction is the continued use of a mood altering substance or behavior despite adverse consequences. You do not provide enough information for me to answer your question. 90mg of Codeine is about as potent as 9 mg of oxycodone.

You are tolerant: To the medication, and could be physically dependent on the medication. Tolerance is a natural response to chronic narcotic use, where the patient needs increasing doses of a particular medicine to obtain pain relief. I would say this seems a very high dose for codeine, and a more potent narcotic might work better for relieving pain.
