I take 25mg zoloft (sertraline) since 3 yrs for ocd. am much better. i want to stop. how to do that gradully. can t break the 50 mg pill to 3 pieces. plz advise?

Discuss with your: Primary dr or psychiatrist. There is no hard and fast rule on tapering the dose. I won't recommend cutting the pill in thirds.Perhaps you make take 1/2 tablet (if it's scored) every day or take it every other day for 2-4 weeks then stop . Best wishes!
