A member asked:

Is it true that when you break a bone is better to take naproxen because acetaminophen causes liver damage and ibuprofen prevents bone growth?

Not quite: There are some studies demonstrating evidence for poor healing of fractures with nsaids (of which both Naproxen and Ibuprofen are examples), but the risk seems to be small. Acetaminophen causes liver damage when taken in overdose. Unless you have liver problems or take it with alcohol or are malnourished or take more than labeled amount, Acetaminophen is safe & should not interfere with healing.
