Do acidic foods cause ra flare ups?

Watch your body: Most of what you read about "acid" and "alkaline" foods online is "misleading" at best. The link between diet and the exacerbations and remissions of autoimmune disease is poorly understood. Anecdotally, there are cases of RA that stop when a particular problem food is identified & eliminated. Ask your physician if a trial of an elimination diet is right for you.
