Lifestyle: You're almost a grown man and you want lean muscle. Transforming your body is primarily about gaining muscle, not weight itself. For this, you'll need to exercise hard, either at a physically demanding job or at a gym / sports field or both. When you do this, your appetite will naturally regulate itself to give you the body you want. Plenty of lean protein, but avoid greasy / sugary / salty stuff.

High energy: high energy density foods such as seeds and nuts will give good nutrition and alot of calories in a small healthy portion. If you are doing exercise with weight training, building muscle will help you increase your weight. You can also eat healthy fats such as avocado for additional calories.
