Stay on til UwantPg.: If you are doing well on the oral contraceptive, i would advise you to stay on them until you desire a pregnancy. This will keep you having regular menstrual cycles and will help you to avoid making ovarian cysts and having heavy, prolonged bleeding. Women with this disorder have stayed on oc's for 20 years with no problems.
