Will an x-ray of the hip/pelvic area show cervical cancer?

Not necessarily.: X-ray is not a screening for cervical cancer. If a large tumor were present this could be seen with x-ray but this is not a way to check for cervical cancer. See your doctor for a pap smear.

No: The cervix and cervical cancer do not show up on an x-ray. The best test is a pap smear.

Nope: Plain x rays of the pelvis will not show cervical cancer unless it got so advanced as to involve the pelvic bone. You don't want to let it get to that point.
