If vaccination for rota virus and pneumonia is not given at the age of 2 months to a baby; can it be given at age if 5 months..?

Better late....: Better late than never. Discuss with the pediatrician as other vaccines are due at 6 months. Rota virus and pneumococcal are usually given at 2 4 and 6 months. Might be playing catch up for a little.

Varies: I believe one of the rotovirus vaccines is not supposed to be started after 4 months.I expect it would be protective but the manufacturer has those guidelines.Any vaccine is likely to provide benefit as soon as you can give it. Vaccine developments and improvements are one of the greatest successes we have in pediatric care.
