Why may diabetes cause a rash?

Fungal growth: Diabetes is a condition which causes the body to be immunocompromised. As a result, you can have overgrowth of many of the organisms which colonize our skin. Diabetics will most often get fungal infections, tines corporis or cruris because of their immune compromised state. These are easily treatable and occur less frequently if the blood sugar control is improved.
