Septoplasty: So the answer is everyone is different after surgery. I hope you have sleeping with your head elevated or in a recliner to help reduce some swelling. Taking pain medicine on an empty stomach or just pain medicine in general make give symptoms similar to this. You also need to be drinking and eating normally. That bein said give you a doc a call if anything like this persists.

Information: Probably has nothing to do with the surgery. However, there have been cases of delayed blood clotting problems after almost any type of surgery. Get immediate consultation if it persists another couple days.
