Folliculitis: It sounds like you have folliculitis, if the cysts are associate with hair follicles, laser hair removal or a trial of accutane might be worth considering. Conventionally, you would need to be tested for a chronic staph or other bacterial infection by your doctor, especially if you tend to go in hot tubs.

Sounds like: Hidradenitis. Sometimes these cysts are difficult to treat. Go to your doctor to make sure there is nothing else going on, such as diabetes or thyroid problems. Then you might need to see a dermatologist to see if any medicines can help. If not, you might even need surgery. Start with your primary doctor.
