No...: ...It's not your fault. Have you tried getting treatment for your depression? You sound like you are in a lot of pain and that you could use some help. Best wishes.

No blame, no shame: Nobody chooses to be depressed. If we realize we have depression, we can take responsibility & get the help we need. It can be hard work, but w/ the right help (therapy & meds) it can be overcome. The difference between responsibility & blame is the negative judgment involved in blame. Judging won't help. Taking responsibility & doing the work will. Avoiding alcohol (a depressant drug) helps too.
