Hard to say: There are many vessels shown on a chest x-ray. Without knowing just which one i can't give you an exact answer. One thing you have going for you is your young age. At your age you are unlikely having a heart attack or aortic dissection. The pain and enlarged vessel may also be unrelated. However, if you can't get an answer from your doc you need to go to an er asap.
