IBS...: Mucousy bowel movements associated with cramps are frequently a sign of irritable bowel syndrome (ibs). In the absence of any other symptoms there is probably no reason for concern. However, if you have fever, chills, night sweats, blood in the stools nausea, vomiting or just don't feel well then see your doctor. Good luck!
