I have never had a swollen tongue, nor have i ever had any allergies. have health anxiety, and afraid of tongue swelling and allergy. irrational fear?

Yes but you are ok: If you have no food allergies and no history of swelling then worrying about your tongue swelling up is just.....Worry. Of course we have all heard of patients with food allergies having intra or peri oral swelling but it is quite rare and most patients are well aware of their food sensitivities and allergies..
