Colon cancer stage 2, pt 65y/o. had 1 + mass, multiple benign polops. all of the colon was removed. is chemo recommended? no matastatas noted.

No chemo needed: There is no evidence that chemotherapy benefits patients with stage 2 colon cancer. It is often given, however. There might be a reason to give it if the cancer was obstructing or perforated as that can worsen the likelihood for cure with surgical resection alone.
