See your doctor: Coughing blood should always be checked. It could be from bronchitis, bleeding gums, or other more serious issues.

Hemoptysis...: Hemoptysis, or blood in the sputum, is usually due to bronchitis. However, there are many other disorders that can cause this, some benign like bronchitis but it can be due to malignancy. You should see your doctor so an evaluation can be gone to be sure that your hemoptysis is due to a benign disorder. You may need some testing. Not all malignancies are due to smoking.
