Uncommon: But with the risks involved, surgery would be likely performed on the tubal one; to salvage the other fetus. In short: it is possible that everything ends up just fine.

Heterotopic pregnanc: A heterotopic (one intrauterine pregnancy with one tubal) pregnancy can be very dangerous, in part because they are so rare it is easy to miss until the pregnancy in the tube is leaking or ruptured. Surgery has to be done to remove the tubal pregnancy. In most cases, the intrauterine pregnancy progresses without incident, but there is a slight increase in the rate of miscarriage.

Surgery: If the one was in the tubes, a surgical procedure would need to be done as a fetus can not grow in the tubes, ..Baby could not survive and dangerous for mother too. Each case is different and all attempts would be made to save the other developing fetus.
