Edema and diazepam : Taking diazepam is an unlikely cause of edema formation. Go this link: ehealthme.Com/ds/diazepam/water+retention and you will find that about 0.12 per cent of patients taking diazepam had edema. Look for other causes such as CHF or kidney disease causing it first. See your doctor for more help.
