IgG or IgM: Igg means an old infection and IgM means a more recent exposure or reactivation. Old infections do not cause any problems.

It depends: Hopefully, you have had CMV before your pregnancy. It can be dangerous to an unborn child if a woman acquires CMV while she is pregnant. Fortunately, most people are infected in their teens or younger.
