A member asked:

I have a tingle/numbness filling under my right rib cage. what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve irritation: Numbness and tingling usually come from a feeling nerve that is irritated. This can come from trauma or inflammation. There is a nerve that follows the lower edge of each rib; one of those could explain your experience. Talk to your primary doctor if it continues to bother you.
