Unrealted questions : Those are two unrelated questions? There is no perfect age to have your first child. Risks are higher under age 15 and above 35. Some women have tears during delivery and repair is needed.

Well before 35: Having your first child in your 20's or early thirties is ideal, but, for many reasons, many women have their first child in their late thrities or early forties. The risks to mom and baby increase after the age of 34 and fertility rates begin to decrease after 34. Miscarriage rates increase after 35. It is no longer appropriate to routinely perform episiotomies at birth. A small tear is common.
