What is the cure for bacterial infection in the groin area of a male?

BACTERIA: It can be as complicated as the need for excision of an infected hair follicle with drainage or as simple as bathing twice/day and applying antibacterial ointment. It is more likely fungal than bacterial but could be both.

Bacterial : Infections respond to antibiotics. On the skin, it is probably a gram positive organism, such as staph. Depending on the depth, topical or systemic antibiotics can be used. I would show it to your doctor to make sure it is not a fungus infection.
