Is kidney working?: Usually, a 3 mm stone will pass on its own. Did the 5/3 us show any obstruction of the urinary collecting system on the side of the stone? Did the us actually image the stone at the uvj? If yes to either question, please see your health care provider and consider a consult with an urologist for a discussion of options. You do not want permanent damage to the kidney.
